Engineering intelligence for the real world
An AI and IoT company in Kulai, Johor. We build computer vision and sensor systems that run on the device, and we're straightforward about what we have and haven't deployed.
An AI & IoT studio with an engineering mindset
IoTera Technologies develops AI and IoT solutions focused on practical automation, monitoring, and intelligent system integration.
Our target areas are industrial operations, smart facilities, agriculture, and connected infrastructure — sectors where the problem is usually visibility, efficiency, or a decision that has to be made from messy data.
Our core focus includes computer vision, predictive AI, smart monitoring, and software platforms that connect devices, data, and operations together. We prioritize solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and adaptable to existing environments.
We are early stage. Two of our platforms are live and open to the public; the rest is prototype work on our own hardware. Where we integrate a partner's hardware, we say so rather than implying we built it.
At a glance
Built with practical engineering experience
The team's background is in IoT, AI, and systems integration. We build with those three together rather than treating them as separate disciplines.
From connected devices and monitoring platforms to on-device inference and analytics, the aim is systems that are scalable, maintainable, and ready to be trusted in a production setting once they get there.
Areas of expertise
Principles, not slogans
These four ideas show up in every architecture review, every line of code, and every system we hand over.
Practical over flashy
Every system we build is judged by one thing: will it hold up in a real operating environment, without someone babysitting it?
Scalable by design
From a single sensor to a multi-site rollout — architectures are designed to grow with your operation, not against it.
Pragmatic AI
We use the simplest model that solves the problem. Complexity is a cost, not a feature.
Engineered to last
You own the code and the model at handover. No dependency on us to keep it running.
Let's build something that ships
If you have a problem worth automating, we'd like to hear about it. Expect a straight answer about whether we're the right team for it.
